Description

Originating in Northern Mexico and literally meaning “roasted meat”, carne asada is thinly sliced beef, taken from the bottom round. It is usually marinated and grilled, and is ideal as filler for tacos, burritos or eaten on its own.

Cooking Tips

Just a couple minutes on the grill over medium high heat, and sliced against the grain.  Serve with beans, guacamole and Pico De Gallo in a warm tortilla for the perfect burrito.
