Description

The Cubed Steak, which can go in many directions, is made from tenderizing a steak from the bottom round portion of the beef.

Cooking Tips

Try it as the classic Oven-Fried-Chicken-Fried Steak- dipped egg, coated in cornstarch and deep-fried.

If you want an Italian-style steak, Cube Steaks Parmigiana uses cheese, tomato sauce, basil and oregano.

Another way to go is with a Cubed Steak Stew or Sandwiches, or a Southern Steak with Milk Gravy or even a casserole. Then again another classic for cube steaks are in a Beef Stroganoff. Two other styles are in Southwest Beef Rolls, or Braised Cube Steaks with Orange.

In any case they are an easy to prepare, budget friendly steak!
